Dear FIABCI Friends,
Welcome to one of the most beautiful cities in our world: Beijing, the capital of China! It is my pleasure and a privilege to invite you to participate in FIABCI’s 60th World Congress, from May 19 to 23, 2009.
This ever-changing planet on which we live is always full of surprises; we are discovering that our economies are in the midst of adjusting in very different ways. The challenges for the present and the future are getting more exciting since we must learn to be creative and persuasive in how we approach the new business we will have to manage in the near future.
Our world is big and our life is long. Our minds should focus now, more than ever, in how we create a better legacy for our children and our future generations.
The FIABCI World Congress in Beijing will be full of ideas, full of joy and full of inspiration for all of us.
While the world enters its third millennium, the Chinese people are well into their fifth millennium in the year of the Ox! It has been said that this will be a great year in the Orient because the Ox (or the Buffalo) “symbolizes property through fortitude and hard work”. Well, that is what we are accustomed to doing…
Beijing is opening the door for us in a way of a great Real Estate celebration with a sound working relationship and the best people at CREA the Chinese Real Estate Association working hand in hand with FIABCI staff and volunteers to make it happen once again.
The theme of the World Congress will be: ““The Real Estate Development in the World Financial Crisis”.
Our World Congress will have everything our members would want: class-A professional conferences, unforgettable social programs, an optimal business environment where a professional practitioner can benefit from marketing and networking opportunities with the particular FIABCI seal.
Now is the time to participate more, to work more and to gain more. This year the fittest will prevail and will teach the world that success is never by chance, that fortune is there for us if we work for it and that by planning we will achieve everything we want.
